You have informed IV, that is more than enough :D
On a serious note, you just have to inform your (dependent's) employer and provide them a copy of your unexpired EAD. Thats it! The employer may require you to fill a new I9 form.

I know this must be a issue some of us would have faced. My wife's Birth certificate is in native language. I have got it translated from India on a stamp paper and notarized there itself.
Is this notarized paper a valid birth certificate for 485 ?

My 140 was filed for a future Team lead position. I am currently a Sr Sw Engg with the same employer. The job description is nearly the same. But I am not sure how this little quirk effects my AC21 eligibility. When does my 180 day start counting ? From filing date or from the date I get the Team lead title ?

Hi,
My wife is on H1B and she couldnt work for the past 6 months. I applied for my I 140 and I 485 during the July fiasco last year and she was not added as my spouse and we got married at a later date.
Since she didnt receive pay for 6 months, I guess she is out of status for these 6 months. So my question is will this have any effect on her GC process when I add her as my spouse to the I 485 application whenever my priority date become current ? I am really worried and dont want to screw up my GC process after a long wait.

Generally you get it within 60 days. You sent only a few days ago, wait until March. If they say 3 months, they mean to say that they approve application within 3 months.

This is such an open ended question. It will be very easy to answer if you can add few lines about your background, affordability and qualification(like GRE etc). If not the school names will be all over the place from MIT to the ABC University....as the word "Good School" is very subjective.

My I-140 was approved in August 2009 and my PD is Jan-2004 (EB3). I want to know when i can apply for I-485, should i have to wait till my PD becomes Current or is there any other way by which i can file the I-485. Please shed some light on this topic and thanks for your time and effort.

You need to wait for your PD become current...may be in 2019.

I filed my 485 on June 4th 2007 with NSC. It was transferred to TSC and received my Receipt notice. Now I am going to file my AP.
My question is where should I file my AP?. Do I need to file with NSC or TSC?.

Yes. you can file i140 and 485 concurrently
