Rescheduling your FP can delay your background check etc., and can complicate your GC approval timeframe. Its better not to reschedule and stick to the appointment unless their is an emergency.
AFAIK, their is no limit on the number of times you can reschedule though, but its advisable not to reschedule for the reasons mentioned earlier..

You should be fine. If you I-140 is not approved by 2008, you can apply for a 1 year extension based on the fact you have an approved labor. Otherwise you would get a 3 year extension.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) has updated the count (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=138b6138f898d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCR D&vgnextchannel=13ad2f8b69583210VgnVCM100000082ca60a RCRD) of H-1B petitions received and counted towards the 65,000 cap.
As of November 20, 2009, 56,900 H-1B cap subject nonimmigrant visa petitions have been filed with the USCIS. The Service has advised that they will continue to accept petitions until the cap is reached.
Qualifying applicants are still able to petition for an H-1B nonimmigrant visa (http://www.mvplawgroup.com/workvisas.php?action=h1bvisa) under the general cap.

I just want to know where is my "H1B Visa Extension Application" needs to apply by my employer.
Following are the details,
1. My Employer located in Virginia.
2. My current work location is Minnesota (and applying the H1extension with this Client's letter).
3. This is my second extension; i.e First H1b is for 2 years; and second H1b(i.e extension) for 3 years . all(5years) with the same employer.
4. I have approved I-140 also.
So 1) which will be the Service Center of mine to apply my H1B Extension
2) I heard Approved I-140 will be an advantage for a 3 year H1 extension application, but do this really matter if I have 3 months Purchase order or Contract with the client.
Please let me know.

hi,
My h1 is approved in this years quota but i have not received I797. During this period if my h4 is stamped will my h1 be cancelled. or can i go to US on
h4 and then change my status to h1 ?
