Can you confirm if your Priority date was earlier than Aug 2004? PD is the date you applied for your Labor Cert., not the date you got approved for your Labor Certification.
From the above you are saying that you applied for LC in Aug 2004 and it was approved by or little before Feb 2005. In Feb 2005 or say Jan 2005 you may have concurrently applied for I-140 and I-485, and hence you were already in the I-485 stage.
If this is the case, then you were pretty fortunate in getting your LC approved in only 6 months, and that too before PERM was introduced. (PERM was introduced on March 28 2005)

How would I-140 approvals impact the availability of visa numbers and isnt spill over already happening,ie, removal of country caps, as we have seen last year,last quarter as well in July VB?
More I140 approvals (of those who have already filed their 485) means more 485 eligible to be adjudicated. Longer the queue and more efficient the USCIS is - slower the PD movement.

I do not support this donor ONLY idea.
Also, Day 1, the FOIA initiative had a goal of $5K.
And without reason, the goal was increased to $10K.
So, pappu should not complain of not reaching the goal when he keeps increasing the goal.

2) Call the local office and get the name of the "Immigration In-charge"
3) Fax a personalized copy addressed to the Senator/Congressperson but on the VERY top say "Attention Mr in-charge} ",to the immigration in-charge.
4) Follow up after a few hours with phone call.
PLEASE WRITE PERSONALIZED Letters Explaining YOUR OWN PLIGHT. PLEASE DO NOT Depend on Templatized faxes.

Do you posses a valid / current visa along with EAD. They seem to be okay with visa, and seems to lack knowledge on the EAD/485 stuff. Can you please PM the link to the loan office you worked, if he is agreeing to talk / provide updates. BTW, mine is a re-finance, and never had problem before and this is the first time, the visa issue is causing difficulties. The reason I went through this loan agent is the rate I am getting.
Finally, BOA approved your loan or not. I am in exact same situation as you & they have denied my refinance.

Mine is a NSC-CSC-NSC 485, july 2nd filer, with Apr 2007 EB2 Priority.
I got Hard and soft LUDs on 2/5/09 and 2/10/09 resp.
Hard LUD says, my case is now pending. (before it was 'this case has been transfered ...).
No idea wht the soft LUD means, might be no RFE.
BTW, I used EAD and also filed AC21 thru my lawyer.

Can you show us the source of your information? It is very clearly written on the IRS website that if Married and filing jointly, both need to have SSN. If one spouse has ITIN, you will not get ANY rebate.

I can feel my H1B friends being hurt due to such discrimination.
I did not ask for my wife's EAD, while filing AOS, because she don't want to work. IRS is forcing us (indirectly) to take EAD, so that SSA will provide SSN and then based on SSN, IRS will give stimulus benefit.

You started this thread saying that USCIS has a "deadline" for completing stuffs last Monday or last last Friday.... All of us trusted you that time - Could you please give us a responsible answer or status Update.

I guess forum is all about sharing information that we gather from different sources. No body can assert anything not even USCIS. They open up the gate for all July filer, then closed it and then re-open it again when many protested. So, when someone shared the news that USCIS is not going to accept the july filings, everyone mocked him but that came out to be true.
Forum is all about sharing information. It depends on our judgement as how much we want to believe on that. Srikondji shared some information which he learned from the CRs, now it's up to you if you want to blindly follow that or use that information as a way to curb your anxiety.
People started cursing logiclife when he posted about the FAQ4 to be released by friday and it didn't. But it did came after 2-3 days. So someone who shared that info with Core might have just said we are trying our best to come up with FAQ4 and will release it by Friday and core shared that info with everyone. But that doesn't mean that people should take that info as if it doesn't come on Friday, it will be the end of the world and core should loose his credibility. FAQ4 did came after couple of days and all those people who were cursing logiclife were no where to be seen.
If you put up a clause that no-one should share the info, unless you have a word from God, I guess we'll not have more than 2 or 3 threads here.
So guys..bottom line is stop fighting over what someone said or not, concentrate on what you are doing about it.
As someone rightly said, "Listen to all but do what you think is right". There is similar adage in hindi but I'm not using hindi so that everyone can understand it.
